Thiết bị chuyển mạch Nexus 3100 là thiết bị chuyển mạch dòng Cisco Nexus 3000 và cung cấp mật độ cổng, khả năng mở rộng và các tính năng được cải thiện so với thiết bị chuyển mạch thế hệ đầu tiên. Nó hỗ trợ cả sơ đồ luồng không khí thuận và nghịch với đầu vào nguồn AC và DC. Cisco Nexus 3172TQ rất phù hợp cho các trung tâm dữ liệu yêu cầu bộ chuyển mạch top-of-rack (ToR) lớp 2 và 3 tiết kiệm điện, hiệu quả về chi phí.

Cisco Nexus N3K-C3172TQ-XL là thiết bị chuyển mạch 10GBASE-T với 48 cổng 10GBASE-T và 6 cổng QSFP+. Switch này rất phù hợp cho những khách hàng muốn sử dụng lại hệ thống cáp đồng hiện có trong khi di chuyển từ máy chủ 10Gbps sang 10-Gbps.
